Privacy policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy covers two things: (a) this website, and (b) the Yield advertising platform as it operates on publishers' websites and apps. They work differently, so we describe them separately.

Who we are

Yield.mobi ("Yield", "we", "us") is an advertising marketplace based in San Diego, California. We sell publishers' ad inventory, on the web and in apps, to advertisers through an auction. You can reach us through the contact page.

Information collected on this website

If you send the contact form, we receive the information you type into its fields, along with your IP address and the time you sent it.

This website sets one first-party cookie, named yield_consent, which records your privacy choices. It is described in our cookie policy. This website runs no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Information processed by the platform

When an ad is requested or shown on a publisher's website or app, the platform may process:

  • your IP address and user agent
  • your device type
  • advertising identifiers and cookie identifiers
  • the page or app where an ad is shown
  • an approximate location derived from your IP address
  • ad events, such as impressions and clicks
  • consent signals passed to us by the publisher

What we do not seek

On the platform, we do not seek your name, your email address, your precise location or sensitive categories of information. We do not ask publishers to send them to us.

How we use information

  • to run auctions for ad inventory
  • to deliver and measure ads
  • to detect invalid traffic and fraud
  • for reporting and billing
  • to keep our systems secure

On this website, we use contact form information to reply to you and direct your request to the right team.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK data protection law applies, we rely on the following bases:

  • Consent, where the publisher collects it for the use of cookies and advertising identifiers, and where this website asks for it.
  • Legitimate interests, for fraud detection, security, and measuring and reporting on ads, balanced against your rights.
  • Contract, where we need information to perform an agreement with a publisher or advertiser.

Who receives information

  • the publisher whose website or app shows the ad
  • the advertiser, or the buying platform acting for the advertiser
  • service providers that process information for us under contract
  • authorities, where the law requires it

We do not sell the information you send through this website.

Retention

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting and security needs. We then delete it or remove what identifies you. More detail is available on request through the contact page.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and information may be processed there and in other countries. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers out of the EU or the UK, we use them. Details are available on request through the contact page.

Your rights in the EU and UK

You may have the right to access your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, go to the contact page.

Your rights in California

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use and disclose
  • delete personal information we hold about you
  • correct inaccurate personal information
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  • limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • not be treated worse for using these rights

This website honors Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing. You can also use the switches on our privacy choices page. To make a request, go to the contact page.

Children

This website and the platform are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, tell us through the contact page and we will act on it.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
